"Greek Mythology & Hip Hop Legends"

I wanted to work around the idea of involving Greek Mythology within my project because I have always found the subject interesting. I first became interested with Greek Mythology when I was in high school and our class used to receive projects to pick a god or goddess to do research upon then present to the class. I chose to do my project based on Poseidon, who is the god of the sea, protecter of all waters. The reason why Poseidon was more captivating to me then the rest of the gods and goddess's was because while I did my research on him it made it easier for me to just think of it from a child's point of view. So I compared it to an old Disney Film, "The Little Mermaid" and it helps me further my research without getting bored of it or giving up. 

I chose to compare the Greek gods to Hip Hop Legends because I wanted to give it a twist, mixing the historical legends with the contemporary legends that people would be able to relate more to. Choosing those who not only made their name permanent within the music industry but has also made a positive impact on the world and the younger generations.
